Lee Villaire: Bio

Lee Villaire (pronounced "vill-air"), is a New England singer/songwriter of what’s been best described as sensual bluesy rock.  Her unique writing style runs the gamut from sexy to playful to poignant, emotionally delivered by this powerhouse vocalist.

Lee and her band are now rehearsing the ten new songs that will be part of her upcoming 6th CD. Over the last year they’ve showcased throughout the area, including a sold-out show this past winter at the legendary Bull Run in Shirley, MA. Two tracks off her last CD “Curious” were selected as part of “The Best of 2010” on Cape Cod’s Pixy 103FM Homegrown radio program, while other songs charted on over 30 college radio stations throughout the country.

Lee’s originally from Montreal and has been writing songs since the age of 14. She’s penned tunes for blues legend Bob Walsh and Scottish country band Evangeline, released her first solo CD in 2001 and has won Honorable Mentions in the International Unisong and Billboard songwriting competitions.
